SJI OPS BUILDING

Description of Work

Precision Concrete Construction provided full site concrete services for the SJI (South Jersey Industries) Operations Building. The project involved large-scale exterior concrete flatwork across the facility’s parking areas, pedestrian walkways, and building perimeter.

Work included the placement and finishing of concrete sidewalks, ADA-compliant access ramps with detectable warning surfaces (truncated dome), concrete curbing, and parking lot aprons. The project required coordination with ongoing site operations and adjacent utility work to maintain access to the active commercial facility throughout construction.

Crews executed the work in multiple pours across the site, with proper joint layout, broom finishing for slip resistance on pedestrian surfaces, and color-integrated ADA tactile pads at all curb transitions.
