Description of Work

Precision Concrete Construction performed interior concrete slab demolition, trenching, and replacement work at the ShopRite supermarket location in Hoboken, NJ. This project required executing heavy concrete work inside an active, occupied retail grocery store environment.

The scope involved saw cutting and removing sections of the existing interior floor slab, excavating trenches for new underground utility and plumbing rough-ins, and backfilling and placing new reinforced concrete to restore the floor surface. Work was performed in tight quarters adjacent to stocked retail shelving and merchandise displays, requiring strict safety protocols and coordination with store management to maintain customer access and store operations.

Trenching work accommodated new plumbing lines and drain connections, with precise slab patching and finishing to match existing floor elevations and provide a seamless transition for floor coverings.
