Description of Work

Precision Concrete Construction provided concrete and masonry services for the Marryott Music Building at Rutgers University. The project involved new CMU block wall construction and concrete slab placement in below-grade and interior mechanical spaces within the academic building.

Work included the construction of multi-course CMU masonry partition walls in confined below-grade spaces, utilizing scaffolding to reach full wall heights. Concrete slabs were poured at the base of new masonry walls to serve as foundations and finished floor surfaces in utility and mechanical rooms. Conduit and piping penetrations were coordinated with MEP trades during the concrete placement.

The institutional setting demanded high-quality workmanship consistent with university construction standards, with precise layout and alignment of all masonry elements.
